One Team, One Group: MICHL.
Established in the German state of Bavaria in the 1950s, we have been moving goods of all kinds from A to B ever since. Like many others, we also started small – with a single milk tanker, to be precise. Over the years and decades, driven by the passion of each successive generation, we have developed into an international freight forwarder and a provider of logistics services.
Never in his wildest dreams, in other words, could our founder Karl Michl have imagined what his little Bavarian haulage firm would one day become. Over the years, a one-man band grew into a company employing 200 people and working out of eight sites.
ACHIEVING SUCCESS AS A TEAM.
Our customers benefit from the diligent and conscientious way we work. We know what we're doing and how to get where we're going quickly. Literally. We boast fast response times, maximum flexibility and a willingness to solve problems right away. We set the highest standards for our own actions and achievements, whether it's transporting your goods or in the areas of warehousing and logistics. Every member of the team is a valued member and, for us, a hero who contributes to the daily success of the Michl Gruppe.
From A for Augsburg to W for worldwide.
Our head office can now be found in Obermeitigen, just south of Augsburg. It is from here that we coordinate all our customers’ orders, whether they are for haulage and forwarding or warehousing and logistics. Our outstanding transport links (A8, A96) bring us numerous benefits. This is where we make sure we’ll get to our destination quickly on behalf of our customers.

Ein Team, ein Held.
“We’re very much on the move and have been for many years. For us, ‘on the move’ means offering haulage and logistics solutions that are as sustainable as they are innovative and responding to change in the economy and society. The MICHL GRUPPE is constantly growing – and achieving success as a team together with its customers.”
Stefan Michl CEO
We do things sustainably.
Mobility underpins everything we do. How we can act sustainably is a crucial question that we ask ourselves every single day and that spurs us on to invest where we need to. The environment, resource conservation and climate all play a major role in our business areas.
- low-emission truck fleet
- company vehicles with internal combustion engines are gradually replaced by electric drives
- latest standards in the construction of new operating buildings
- operation of our own photovoltaic system
- planning and compliance with processes to conserve resources and avoid unnecessary trips. Our path always leads directly from A to B.
